Armscor/Rock Island Shotgun

Anyone have any experience with the Armscor/Rock Island M5? It's the Nickel plated version with the heat shield. I have the opportunity to pick one up locally for a slightly inflated price. I like to support the local business with the odd purchase but if it's a piece of dog doo I'd rather get another Norinco.

I did a search and all I could come up with was a thread with no replies.

I saw the start of a vid on it by Gunblast but I just can't take more than a minute of him at a time.

The gun is made in the Phillipines and a is near copy of the old High Standard Flite King which itself was a pretty close copy of the older Remington Model 31. IMHO the M5 is the better shotgun.

I don't own one of these but had one of their handguns. It was made well. They make the Spartan for ST I.

i have a 20 inch barreled armscor made model 30 d shotgun with rifle sights . as a slug gun it is very accurate as the barrel is threaded to the receiver . my shotgun is easy pumping and problem free.

We have one that parkerised in stock at cost. Just ordered it to see what parts we could make fore it.
