Hello all, 'tis time for my first post. :)

Is anyone familiar with the Arnprior and District Rifle and Revolver Club? Do they have a website? (Amoungst other things I am wondering if they have IPSC)
I live really close to the Stittsville Shooting Range but I would like to join a club with an indoor facility, (Not the RA centre), and not as expensive as the Stittsville one. (Which I found out yesterday is over $400 a year  )

Thank you.

Thank you.

ADRRC is owned by Red D.

No web site.

No IPSC but they are holding PPC jmatches once a month for the winter months.

They have a 5 or 6 position range, 25 yds long.

I used to shoot at the Beachburg club, but that's probably too much of a drive for you.
Their indoor range (at the time) was air and .22 only, but I know they've spent a fair bit of money, but on what, I don't know.
Cheers!

Brief firearm related history of self:
Started out the usual way with the BB/Pellet .177 air-rifle... migrated to .22 rimfire's that I used/use to hunt small game. Used to hunt mostly rabbit with my grandfather back 15-20 odd years ago. Got my 'restricted hand-gun' endorsement on the PAL about 5 years ago... been aiming, (pun intended), to get into handguns for a long time. Hoping to get involved with either PPC or IPSC... right now waiting for my guns to show up.. then the business of joining a good local club and getting an ATT awaits. I applied personally for the ATT before I knew that the odds were next to zero on getting one unless endorsed by a club.

Thanks.

Hey Pottsy, although it does NOT have an indoor range, have you considered the Smiths Falls Fish and Game Club (SFFGC)?

I live IN Stittsville but simply can't justify 4 bills a year for membership (after being out of work over a year, now back at work but things are still tight financially).

SFFGC is a little longer to drive, but is a very nice facility and doesn't have the restrictions as to when you can shoot that the others do.

And at $125, a very good deal.
