Hi all,

So I love my arx 160... But love cones at a cost.
At 6'2 the length of pull is off by two inches.
Any suggestions?
I'd like to get a different back hinge and use and AR style buffer tube and stock but can't find one at a retailer.

I found one south of the border for 50 usd but it was sold.

Any help is great.

Cheers,
Halifax

So I'm not alone.
I'm thinking if trading it in a m&p 15 to get around the issue.

That would be a shame since you would loose several of the ARX advantages (ie: non-restricted status & ability to use unlimited capacity Colt M4-22 mags). The stock on my ARX-160 is only just long enough ( I am 5'10") so it does not surprise me that some find it too short. Have you searched the Smith & Wesson and AR15 forums for stock adapter solutions?

The S&W M&P 15-22 is also a great rifle, and you can usually pick them up pretty cheap on the EE since there is so little demand for them (and restricted .22 rifles in general).

That would be a better solution. I had search for a stock adaptor. I found one from a guy in the US but he wanted money order only and I wasn't that trusting where he wasn't a business.
I will gaggle the s&w forums. Great suggestion TomE.
I would prefer to keep her in truth.
