As New as it Can Get from Shelburne

Hi folks. My name is Jamie and I am finally getting back into the shooting world after a 15 year hiatus. Between constantly moving with work, marriage and kids comming along I had pretty much given up on the hobbies (Soaring and Hi Power Rocketry were my other past times).

We are finally back in Canada and living in Shelburne, Ontario. I wrote the PAL exam (Non-restricted) and am waiting for the papers from examiner to apply with the Feds.

Man, what happened to the waiting times? Minimum 45 days plus a mandatory 28 day waiting period on top of that? Any longer and I would be dead before it arrived. Maybe that is the point.

Other than Barrie, is there any other clubs or ranges in the Shelburne area? I will be shooting .22 (rifle) with iron sights and will probably be hand loading with my budget.:D

I look forward to being involved again.

Kind regards,

Jamie

Hi Jamie, welcome to CGN! I'm from the other end of the country, so I can't help you with your specifics, but I'm sure someone will be along to answer your questions.
In the meantime, here's my standard pitch:
