So I have a Tavor and love it and I was asked by a friend who wants to get into reloading to save my brass for them , So last time I went out shooting I did saved my brass, However when I inspected the brass after picking them up I noticed there was a small ding just below the shoulder on every casing i'm gonna assume from hitting the deflector ? Are these ruined ? can they even be reloaded ? I'm not sure if this is normal or specific to the Tavor. Anyone else with a Tavor have this happen ?

Thanks

This will happen with any semi as far as i know. I load for my AR and haven't had any problems when loading with dinged cases like these. After several loadings i have yet to see one rupture because of this

Should not be a problem for reloading. The ding in the neck will be taken care of with the resizing die, and the ding in the wall of the case will fireform back on the first shot.

If they are kinked and not just dented, then I'd toss them.

My old XCR used to bend the neck in like a taco on lots of cases, they all reloaded fine. The resizing die took care of it, it might shorten the length of the brass but until then they are good to go.
