Was anybody a member of or has information about the "Association of Automatic Firearms Collectors and Shooters" which apparently, as of 1989, was in Winnipeg, Manitoba ?

An organization like that might legitimize the sport and collections of those fortunate enough to own FA's and CA's, especially under a Conservative gov't. A governing body could effectively create a sport, and under our legal system make it easier to relax the rules. ( I know, I'm dreaming but ISU shooters can still own .32's so maybe....)
