Well we are at last on Canadian Gun Nutz and Super happy to be here!

As an authorized importer of J.G. Anschutz & AHG Anschutz, we hope to bring to the Canadian market the service these world renowned products expect!

COMPANY PROFILE:

Nordic Marksman is small specialty online retailer of quality Biathlon, Nordic sports and Target Shooting products, supplies and equipment. We are driven by a passion to combine high quality, innovative and proven products with functional, sophisticated design to enable athletes to perform at their peak.

Our main focus has been to bring to Canada and beyond, access to high quality, cutting edge competition and training equipment for the sports of Biathlon and Marksmanship. Starting with BEAR Biathlon rifle stocks from Slovakia, our product line is ever expanding as we search for the best the world can offer to help advance the sport of Biathlon and the competitive target shooter. Our line now includes products from world-renowned manufacturers including Larsen Biathlon,Peter Fortner, Centra & MEC, Altius, Alpina, Kowa, Rottefella, Casco and Bliz and now Anschutz. In the fall of 2012, Nordic Marksman joined in partnership with Biathlon Canada to be there only official online retailer for Biathlon Canada products. In March of 2013 we were granted the opportunity to import direct from J.G Anschütz after meeting with Mr. Anschütz.

OUR ROOTS:

Nordic Marksman INC was established in 2010 and operates from our location in Nova Scotia, Canada. As a result of our personal involvement in Biathlon, we rapidly discovered that advancement in these sports required equipment that was not easily available in our area. And so the idea for Nordic Marksman was born.

Since then we have been growing in leaps and bounds. Our main market started out small and has since spread from coast to coast to coast across North America, with growing interest from Australia and Europe. We are proud supporters and sponsors of many athletes from our local level right up to National team members currently on the World Cup circuits and with past Olympic experiences and Sochi 2014 in their sights.

We take pride in knowing that we test all of the products we sell and endeavor at all times to offer quality service, customer satisfaction and just a great product. We stand behind the products that we sell. That is the heart of our business!

Shortly we will be posting up some information on some of the products we carry, and a few specials from Anschutz!

Ah, Izhmash... It seems Izhmash is waiting to incorporate there new company. In a recent email from them for an order...

"In view of reorganization of SPA "Izhmash" JSC to "Concern "Kalashnikov" JSC the contract will be forwarded to you approx. october-november 2013 as soon as we will have all incorporation documents"

So...we wait :)

Precision Rifle shooters:

And especially those of you who have attended my Clinics in Precision or M14 rifle... these are the fine folks who sold me my Kowa TSN 82SV that many of you had, upon first viewing, responded with, "Motherfzcker!" :cool:

For those of you who have not attended my Sniper Clinics, I always align ALL the participating spotting scopes by price point; from lowest on the left to most expensive on the right. All the students move in either direction examining how their personal eyesight works with various scopes. Be you cannot do this at Bass Pro, LeBaron's, or Cabela's can ya? ha ha ha ha

Everyone walks away coming to their own conclusions on what optics to further look into, what price point is amiable for what quality of optics can work for their: budget, game, cool factor, color scheme, and finally "looks cool factor". :D

My Kowa sat on the right edge and when people arrived at that end, the profanity began. We did the same exercise at the Longview Sniper Clinic in July, we ranged a distant rock cut/gravel exposure about 1.5 kliks away and then the comparing began.

Folks, I'm glad to have NM here as dealers! Welcome to the NUTZ!

I just placed and very shortly thereafter received my first order from NM. AWESOME customer service. Within an hour of emailing my order, I received a call to confirm my PAL, and then the comment, "well, we're supposed to get some snow here so we'll try and get this out right away". I received the first package the next day!! The rifle took all of 4 days (from Nova Scotia to southern Ontario) despite there being snow storms on the east coast and here in Ontario. I'm sure it would have been held up longer had they not worked to get things underway promptly.

Like most Gunnutz, when I make a decision to get something, I tend to become impatient. Nordic Marksman took care of things quickly and it was greatly appreciated. If you're contemplating dealing with them, deal with confidence.

Just received my first purchase from Nordic. Brad is excellent when it comes to communication and I can honestly say that this was the smoothest online purchase I have ever made. Thanks again Brad!
