Crazy idea aside, the thing is poorly designed and made from plastic. The "butterfly" trigger is in the wrong orientation (cleverly hidden in the picture), its not that tough to design it right and use some decent materials. My thinking is taht they are probably working on some prototype spade grips for the 1911.
