At least my 1903A4 looks whole again

Well digging through my junk drawers looking for something totally unrelated and came across a beat up old 4x scope. Figured I might as well toss it onto the M1903A4 until I get a replacement for the Hi-Lux that was destroyed by Canada Post. Decided I might as well do something a little artsy-fartsy with it in the front yard.

Was it really Canada Post that destroyed it or was it just crappily packaged by the seller?

I've lost count how many times a simple crumpled up newspaper would have made all the difference in the world but the seller didn't bother...

Well here is the Weaver K6 I picked up on an auction. Looks good and got it all sighted in today and ready for bear hunting starting next week!

Numrich has a repro scope and mount for that, it was on sale a little while ago.
