At loss for my next scope

Hey guys, been lurking around for a new glass for my new rifle and can't figure wich one it's gonna be.

I'm looking for a FFP (First Focal plan) Scope for around under 1000$ 20 power or more.

Any recommendation?

It's for a Savage 10TR in .308

I mostly benchrest and don't plan to hunt with it.

I saw the Vortex HS-T 6x24-50 but it's not FFP

Is there any good quality scope under a grand that I missed while shopping ?
 
I saw a Sightron S111 6-24 that is FFP go for $900 about a month ago on the EE. Think they are little overs G new though. But I would say far better than the vortex.
 
Vortex has some very cool new PST offerings coming out. Will be a little more that 1000$, but good FFP is tough for 1000$.

If you're target only, you sure you need FFP?? Not trying to stir the pot, but I've been through this. FFP seems like the be-all-and-end-all, but it's not. It has its place. If you can look at SFP, there's lots of sightrons and PST 6-24's for sale regularly.

what distances are you shooting? benchrest sounds like your shooting at a range at know distances, for that reason alone I don't believe you even need to consider a FFP scope
 
At my range it's 200m, sometimes I go shoot in sandpits for further distance.

I think you're right, maybe I don't need FFP with my shooting style.

if you dont need illuninated reticule or locking turrets, its in my opinion your best bet.

but this said, I havent get the chance to give a try to burris xtrII or meopta lines
