I'm going to apply for a new ATC.
I have gotten ATC's before in BC for my .357 magnum and .454 Casull.
I would like to add my GLOCK17 in 9mm (for winter carry when the bears are sleeping but the cougars aren't) and my SW model 12 snubby for the same reason.
My rational to the CFC will be that both these lighter weapons are easier to carry than either the .357 or .454.
Has anyone gotten a Wilderness ATC with weapons this light accepted in recent years?
I'd like to have these additional handguns on my ATC so that my carry options are flexible and can better suit the requirements of the varied terrains, climates and pack loads that I may be faced with.
An incidental benefit might arise should disaster strike and the Lieberals get re-elected. Handguns on an ATC would be VERY difficult to confiscate.
