Atc ?

I was looking in2 a trapper course a wile back that also gave you ur ATC license.
This was a wile back n stuff but my Q is if I did the course and got my atc would I be able to have a hand gun with me pretty much anytime im in the woods or is it still restricted to only a pacific time ?

Only a specific time, yes.


An ATC that you can get if you hold a Trappers License is meant to allow the carrying of the handgun only while performing the duties of a trapper. I know because I went that route. Mine has actually been expired for a couple of years now. I still may get it re-instated but I'm not in a hurry.

I am sorry for the stupid question but what the Trapper Licence means ? Where I can obtain more info about it ?

A Trapper is someone who traps fur-bearing animals to sell them or their skins. A Trapper License is a permit to harvest animals in that manner. See whomever regulates hunting licenses in your area for more information.

Trappers, prospecters, geologists, and other people who work in extremely remote locations are able to get a permit to openly carry a restricted firearm to protect themselves from wild animals.

To have an ATC while hunting or to be able to hunt with a restricted would great, but .....
