the single action trigger can be set off by your shadow

Thanks to Everyone for making it a great match! Record numbers, lots of new shooters, perfect weather...it couldn't get much better.

Is there interest in a "Rainwater Revisited" in 2009?

Once again, the Guys and Gals at ATHL were a hoot. Thanks to the Match Directors, I especially enjoyed The rifle stage. Mass, as always, you're the best, thanks. Revisiting Rainwater in 2009 is a great idea.

Thanks for the kind words Jim.

Yes, "Rainwater Revisited" in 2009 is a great idea! Might as well start the Planning now John!

But in the mean time, as promised, here are some photos from ATHL Match #12 - "Rainwater Security Consultants":

Bruce G. engaging the remaining targets at P2 of Stage 3. (The shooter had the choice to either engage these targets in 'Tactical Priority' while using 'high cover' or in 'Tactical Sequence' using 'low cover'. Most chose high cover.)

100_1867.jpg

Joe T. engaging the distant targets from P2 on Stage 8. (Joe borrowed my S&W Model 66 'snubby' for the match. This resulted in getting tagged with the nickname 'Two Inch T***er'. But in the end Joe was Match Winner in SSR. So I guess 'size doesn't matter' after all.....)
