Fellow shooters,
The match is going to go ahead this weekend. The weather looks bearable, so we are going for it!
Set up is Saturday at the MVMA range in Olds. Those of you able to help, it is much appreciated. I will be out at the range at 9:00 AM Saturday, and actual setup will probably start around 10:00 AM. If enough helpers show up, there should be enough time in the afternoon to run the classifier for those who wish to be classified.
Match day is Sunday. Registration is from 8:00 - 9:00 AM at the MVMA range, followed by the shooters meeting at 9:30 AM and first shot down range no later than 10:00 AM. The match has 9 fun stages, some with multiple strings, so we will need to keep on cranking to get 'er done by ~4PM. Match fees are as described previously, and some of you need to sign up to ATHL/IDPA now, having already shot your first "non-member" match. First timers do not need to be members.
Bring lunch on Sunday as we may not have enough time to take a long break and head into town. Also, be prepared for either (or more likely both) bright sunshine AND occasional showers. The match is around 100-120 rounds, but bring extra ammo.
Any questions, PM me.
See you this weekend!
Joe
