I cant speak for the whole rifle but my first AR had a ATI Omni Hybrid lower on it. I only used it for plinking at the range as most people would do. Never had a problem.

Thank you. I’m looking to do the same get my first AR. There seems to be a shortage of entry level rifles at the moment.

Anyone have any experience or thoughts on these?

I've been running an Omni lower for a couple of years now, used it in a few 2gun/3 gun matches over the years with a couple of different uppers, it has been absolutely flawless. Would I depend on it as a SHTF lower,,probably not, but for a range toy/ competition lower I can't say a single bad thing about it
