I've been looking to get a new optic for one of my rifles. I came across the ATN X-Sight-II 3-14

https://www.amazon.com/ATN-Riflescope-Stabilization-Shooting-Solution/dp/B01BYDUV4G

I like some of the features it has, like the ability to record and geotag your shots, the night vision, the ease of sighting it in, and creating different profiles for each rifle, so I don't have to re-sight it every time I swap it. I understand it's a glorified video camera, but for what I will be using it for (target shooting, and MAYBE some hunting, no competition/run and gun type stuff), it looks to have some pretty neat features that I could really take advantage of.

Their promotional video looks interesting too.

Any in house verdicts on this scope? Any good, or expensive gimmick?

Can't speak to the Gen 2 sights, but the Gen 1 sights are pretty solid. The night vision works quite well. The daytime part is decent, resolution and refresh rate of both aren't phenominal, and tracking a moving target causes some horizontal distortion. If they were able to push it up to 1080p resolution and 100fps or so, it would eliminate almost all of my criticisms.

Last I talked to Wolverine, they're working on bringing these in, but as of yet I'm unaware of any having made their way in to the country.

One other option would be Pulsar optics, definitely worth taking a look at. I handles one of heir thermal scopes and it was pretty sweet, although I'm unsure of the build quality in comparison to the ATN.
