Not just marketed, it is a FAL.

This is a direct quote from their website:
"In September 2005, Bobcat Weapons Inc., began developing an FN FAL designed to fire a .223 cal./5.56 mm from an AR-15 magazine. Beside compatibility with the AR-15 magazine, the receiver is aluminum which lightens the original FN FAL weight to 8.0 lbs."

I don't think I'd want that kind of bolt locking into an aluminum receiver.

That wouldnt matter under Canadian law, its how its marketed that determines its legality.

Stay the hell away from those crooks. Besides, isn't making a 5.56 FAL kinda pointless? Why not just go the extra step and make an FNC?
