ATR Rifle

Ok, Got this one form Rick. I use it for stuff. Anyway, clean barrel all the time, cold bore shots only. So no groupings. I took a 5r milspec rifle and removed everything, the only thing original on this rifle is the action. The rest was done up by Rick. I put a US optics scope on it and a scope level. Here are some pics.

Wow thats a nice rifle. Whats the longest range you've shot with it?

Its a real Rock Creek 5R barrel not the wannabe one remington is selling.

The longest kill I have on record so far is 426 meters (coyote) measured by GPS. The longest I have shot it was 500 yards at the range in valleyview.
The Yote was fat and had lots of fur on em. Yeah hes a pelt now. The hole we stitched up and it looks real good. To bad fur prices are down.

Hope I can get to the Genesse range or some other place I need numbers out to 700 yards.

The video was done to 500 yards using holdovers on the siloutte range it was alot of fun for me. The rifle in the back is also a ATR rifle and is chambered in 300 RUM. They both shoot extremely nice. Recoil? what recoil.

By watching the video you can tell the back one is the 300rum! Anyways, what's the length of your Rock Creek barrel on the 308?
