Giving these guys some consideration for a custom AR if the SR-15 preorder doesn't work out....

Does anyone have any experience with their ARs?

I've heard they're going to be doing their own billet upper soon, wondering how their own lower (and hopefully by extension, their upper) stacks up to the competition.

Anyway, if anyone has any feedback on their work, and if it's worth the premium over other alternatives such as LMT, I'd appreciate the feedback.

Cheers.

Maybe if they didn't offer rebranded TuffForce rails for 4x the MSRP.

But really, piecing together and building your own isn't hard.

Top notch! Expect some pretty long delays as they are really busy. Their work however is worth the cash. I have a billet lower from them for my noveske upper. really nice really tight.

I'm running 2 of thier lowers now and love them. They are currently machining the "new" version of thier lower that will match up perfectly with thier soon to be billet upper.

Thier lowers have a tighter match up to most uppers I've found. Not sure how much that helps with accuracy, but it sure is nice not to see daylight between the 2. Best bet is to stop in at thier shop and have a look.

Atrs

Just got back from Rick's shop, dropped off my third one for a barrel. There is a substantial wait for work as there have been a lot of changes in shop and bussiness seems to be booming for him. There were 3 others at the counter when I walked in, and service good as always. The demand for good work is high as evidenced by the "list". Be prepared to be eternally broke as there is lots of MUST have s in the display cabinet---It,s like crack for gun people

I am hoping to get something that will be a good all rounder, and hoping that my inability to look in the case will slow down my need to buy more and more (at least until I'm really to put my shorty together).

Something similar to an SR-15, chambered in .223 Wylde, and I'll be happy.

We ARE in the midst of another production run of both lowers and uppers, this will be Gen 3. The changes are a better blending of the machined surfaces, and a better overall finish than prevoius generations. ALL edges are now radiused so there are NO sharp corners, the trigger guard is relieved so that the middle finger does not touch the trigger guard. The wall thickness of the lower is thicker than our competitions by over 10% resulting in a more structural product. The safety detent spring is now captured and the safety employs a ball bearing rather than a pin to engage, this makes it MUCH smoother to flip safety on or off. The rear takedown pin spring and plunger are also captured which makes taking the butt stock plate off much simpler as the spring does not go flying. We have maintained the integral rear pin tensioner as well, something very few lowers employ, which is far better than that accuwedge gizmo.
At this moment you DO have the option of custom serial number, something no-one else offers as well as custom fire control markings, also something no-one else offers.
The Milspec hard anodizing is the same as most makers use.

The tolerances of our lowers and uppers are considerably tighter overall than any other lower and upper on the market. The material we use is 7075T651.

YES we are more expensive than most mass produced uppers and lowers, but are comparable in price to the high end custom US makers parts but Made with Pride in Canada and backed by a lifetime no hassle warranty.

Photos to follow.

Thanks for weighing in.

I called you guys earlier today (not from Vermont), and I think the way I'm going to go is a Noveske Recon 16" w/VIS upper, with a complete lower from you. I hadn't heard about the custom serial and fire control markings, that's definitely a nice touch.

Cheers.
