ATRS Modern Sporter Mk12 Mod 0 UPDATE: Range Report

I don't think he meant it like you imply, I think he was only poking fun... While it's a nice rifle, it is neither a MK12 nor anything special.
Ya see - after so many years of watching guys take a receiver set and throw some parts on it, then show the world their "C7 clone" or "MK12 clone", it gets kinda old.
That's the reality, and you may not like it but it's the truth.

Congrats on your new rifle, BTW. Not how I would've built it, but you paid for it not me !

Honestly why make stupid comments to stir the pot if you don’t like the rifle or think it’s so 2005, I really don’t care if there was sarcasm, if your bored go do something with your life instead of being a keyboard warrior. Gobc loves the build as myself and to see cgn’ers not appreciating and saying BS just because?

GoBc it’s a nice rig, and while it’s hard to read tone into the posting of others, I would ignore the unsolicited remarks of someone who posts for the sole purpose of being negative. I can nit pick with the worst of them, and am impressed that you even have all the PRI components that you do. That and the muzzle brake are hard parts to get. I know as well having sold off a Mod 0 parts kit a couple of years ago.

Is it a 100% level spec clone, maybe not ( and I don’t recall you saying it was ) but it’s significantly closer than most in Canada will achieve given the extremely hard to get parts. While “clones” might not be everyone’s cup of tea, my hats off to anyone who starts with the right components, which you have.

Build what you want and enjoy, all of my “inspired” or “clone-ish” builds have deviations done under the “just because I can” rule.

Thanks for the kind words everyone

Whether TV-PressPass was serious or sarcastic, it never bothered me. This gun is exactly what I wanted. Furthermore, getting worked up over internet comments is what the SJW's do.
