I have been told that with your current Quebec ATT and a member ship to FTQ in Quebec you are allowed to transport of your restricted arms to any FTQ sponsored shooting match (PPC / IPSC). Is this true?

Well sort of, it's FQT (shooting federation) and not FTQ (workers union).
If you are attending an FQT sponsored event, you do NOT need a special ATT.

Be very careful about the PPC matches. Most of them are under the CPCA sponsorship and are not sanctionned by FQT. You then need a specific ATT for each match unless it is at your own club. Last year, a member tried to convince the SQ to provide blanket ATTs for CPCA sanctionned PPC matches, but was unsuccessful. They claim they deal with and recognize ''Federations'', not ''Associations''. Federations are heavily dependent upon government grants, it might be why they are rather submissive.
