ATT for restricted firearms mobility?

Hi all, been a few years since I passed my test and got my PAL. Finally got my first restricted pistol and registration papers.

With my ATT, am I only allowed to go to my registered gun range that I have membership to or can I go to any range even if I'm not registered to It? Couldn't find info on this online. Seems to be silent on it or I'm just sucky at searching.

Next question, if i go for lunch after the range nearby or on my way home, that's fine right?

First answer: what does your special conditions paper say? This came with you license.

Second: this is typically left to your judgement as the rules are meant to be as clear as mud.
 
I had called the CFO with the same questions. I've received a new license in the mail stating that my license is still standard and "transportation conditions" are attached to the card.

Apparently i'm good to go to any range which confuses me because i never applied to get an ATT yet. Does it get automatically applied?
 
I'm in the same boat. I got my updated PAL but only says transportation conditions. Their website doesn't identify this query. I guess no paper ATT required and any range and gunshop is fair game.
 
Call your CFO via the RCMP firearms program. Give them your PAL # and they will tell you exactly what you can and cannot do. Specifically ask them the above questions regarding where you can go and such.
 
Ok figured it out.

Whenever you purchase your first restricted firearm , they will send you a new PAL. Don't throw away the paper that attached to your new PAL. At the bottom of thay paper, it lists your conditions and they ask you cut the bottom part of the 8.5 x 11 letter size sheet that your PAL was stuck on and keep this excerpt with you.

I almost threw away this paper. Just like receiving a new credit card, I just tear the card off the paper and toss the paper. In this case, the paper that the card is attached to actually serves a purpose also.
 
It's fking stupid that in 2018, we still have to carry little pieces of paper... They could just tag the conditions to your actual plastic license, which you need anyways. Just make like driver licenses with different classes to represent the conditions...

I agree. It's very redundant considering they updated my conditions on my card for the 2nd time and added an extra text on it and still want me to carry this POS paper that doesn't fit in my wallet.
 
It’s still confusing....I was under the impression that unless you apply for a long term att, you had to call every time you wanted to transport. I just got mine today after purchasing my first restricted and on the conditions, it clearly states that I can transport to any range in my province approved under section 29, peace officer, gun show and gun shops. Never once does it say to call to get an att.
So... no phone calls as long as I’m going to any place listed above?
 
A whole thread of folks that completely missed the bill C42 affair. Cant wait to see the forum the week the Liberals revoke 650,000 ATTs with Bill C71.
