att....how long of a wait?

how long do you usually wait for att? i have a couple of handguns on layaway at the local sporting goods store, rpal has been aproved, just waitng on canada post, then the att....gettin real itchy to go shootin! when purchacing restricted firearms in the future will the wait the same as the first time?
is there a diff permit to take from store to residence? or just the att? i live in northen b.c. is it differant for diff provinces?

I think mine took 4 or 5 business days from the time I faxed in the LATT form to the time my first restricted purchase went through (the store had started the transfer but it was held up by the BC CFO pending approval of my LATT). Once you got the first one out of the way the rest should take about 2 days to complete on average. We're in BC so it's usually pretty fast

You'll need a SATT to take your restricteds from the store back home, or from the post office back home. Your LATT will cover the trips to the range/gunsmith, provided that you had filled it out correctly.
