Greetings.
Another newbie ATT question.
When one obtains an ATT for 'authorized ranges' does it only apply for ranges within that province?

I have 2 residences - one in Ontario where I stay when our business is off-season and one in Nova Scotia where I stay for when our business opens. I have my rpal.
My question is:
I know that each province has their own CFO but are the ATT's provincially based? In other words would I need to become a member of a range both in Ontario and in Nova Scotia in order to get the ATT to go to the range in each province?
I would have gear in both NS and Ontario so I wouldn't be transporting anything other than from my residence in one province to the range in said province.

I am thinking it's probably too much to ask that I would be able to join a range in NS get an ATT for approved ranges there that would allow me to use my restricted as a guest in an Ontario range. Save me having to join two ranges - and Ontario stinks for all this.
Thanks for any info

I am in pretty much the same spot as you. I am licensed in AB, but also have a house in BC. Province wide for AB, and a note on my ATT of my secondary address (BC) and my BC range where I hold my membership.
BC CFO said that they will issue a BC/YK ATT and then have some paper to fill out to allow an AB ATT. Im not sure if its true or not, and not willing to change my license to BC to find out. I dont see why one CFO office says they can do it, while another says no. Best thing would be to call and ask them about it.

I used to have one for AB and BC when I lived in both but at some point someone at one of the CFO offices decided that was not kosher and cancelled it. However, they forgot to tell me so I kept using an invalid ATT and didn't find out it had been cancelled until I went to renew it about a year later. I may shortly be in the situation of living in two separate residences again so would like to see if they have figured out how to make this work now.

they didnt seem to have an issue with adding my secondary address, or saying I was allowed to move my guns between my places. Only thing that they wouldnt do is provide me with a province wide for BC, which they said only BC could do but wont as I am licensed in AB. Only other thing I am going to do is get letters from my friends and family that I shoot with all over the province and see if I can get letters that I shoot at their clubs as a guest on a regular and random basis and see if they will add them to my ATT.
