Hi
I have two residences, one in Toronto (Primary, weekdays) and one is Ajax, ON (Weekends, my parents live there too). The range I am looking to join is Oshawa ON.

Ajax Residence is on the way to Oshawa from Toronto. Can I get ATT for two residences?

Also can i store firearms the secondary residence.

Thank you,
AJ

No, you cannot get an ATT for two "homes". I asked about this with the scenario that "I go to school in Toronto, live in Ancaster on weekends, and my range is Silverdale."

In short your "home" is whatever is on your PAL. The CFO will only issue ATT's for Home to Range or Short Term ATTs for an invited trip. As such, I could not keep my restricteds (I referenced an AR-15) at Campus dorm because I had to ATT to get them there.

I also asked about going to work with my restricteds locked in my trunk, then to the range after. They asked about where the car was parked during the day (in eyesight, in an open but fenced compound - like a construction yard). I specifically stated it's a triangular pattern and is most certainly not a direct path. The CFC person I spoke with said "How often do you plan to do this?" My reply was "once or twice a month". She then stated "That's fine. You just can't have it with you in the car all the time sort-of-thing". I responded with "It's on my planned reasonable path; Leave home, go to work, go to range, head home?" Her reply was in the affirmative.

Call the CFC office and confirm for yourself. "I need an ATT for home to range by way of my school."

The law says " the most reasonable and direct route."

If you're a member in AjX, and it's a two day trip, and you stay overnight, how can this be any different than if I go for a weekend to Kelowna to shoot IPSC.

It's not.

I wouldn't over think this.

Until last year I owned a home in the Edmonton where I worked. However, my permanent home was in Saskatchewan. I had a membership in the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation which gave me access to my local gun club. I bought a membership at Phoenix Gun Shop in Edmonton. They have an indoor range. The Alberta CFO gave me an ATT which allowed me to take my handguns back and forth. The process was painless. However, you're in Chris Wyatt country in Ontario... Good luck.

Yeah it's a totally different set of rules.

Maybe it depends on the CFO, but in BC I was able to add my girlfriends address to my LTATT as we sometimes go to the range directly from her place. Just called them up, I explained the situation and they sent me a revised LTATT by email 20 minutes later. Probably your best bet is to call the CFO's office in your province.
