I have an H. Piepers DIANA model 10G SXS (patented in 1881). There is an article in the Double Gun Journal Volume 14 Issue 1 Spring 2003 (page 137) about this very gun. It is nowhere near in the same condition as the gun featured in the article. In Excellent condtion these are Valued at aroun $15,000. This one has had a fe repairs done over the years, has been refinished, no longer has an checkering. But it is intact and has the original butt pad etc.
