Now that I’ve gotten your attention, if you’re a decent shot and don’t mind shooting slowly occasionally please come to the Barrie Gun club June 9 & 10 or July 14, 15 and 16th and join us for precision muzzle loading match. We are a small group, but we make lots of smoke.

Match:
Dedicated Open top percussion revolver match (antique or repro).
Overview:
One handed
Distance 25m
Target ISSF Pistol target (bullseye style)
Number of shots 13 in 30 minutes, best 10 count
Bullet: Round ball or picket
Powder: real black powder (don’t have blackpowder but a substitute - please come out and shoot with us).
While there are lots of other matches, with an open top revolver you could shoot two other matches. So you don’t need lots of equipment to enjoy precision Muzzleloading.
