ATV rifle case for RFB or Tavor.

How long is it? Why dont conventional cases work? Is it unusually tall and wont fit? Take some measurements and start googling. I cant see this being a problem. Were not taking about a huge gun here.

I sling my RFB. I rode my quad all day on Monday with it across my back. I just used the sling it came with as well. It wasn't bad at all.
I don't like those cases that attach to the rack of the quad. I sling all my rifles. Even my DTA SRS rode across my back for a whole day last hunting season. Got a little dusty but no harm done.
The good thing about the bullpups across your back on the quad is that they don't stick out and get caught on tree branches as you ride. And they are incredible when walking through the bush.

Kolpin makes a tactical gun boot for black rifles. Be careful that you buy the correct mount, however. I picked mine up from Cabelas in the US, but they sent the incorrect mount. I ended up fabbing up my own, rather than hassle with sending it back. The Kolpin gunboot consists of a soft, removable inner case and a hard shell outer with a large hinged access "top" in the rear. I haven't seen them for sale here in Canada, but perhaps your local Kolpin dealer could special order one for you?

I have this style currently which just not fit the RFB at all.

Thanks I may have to see about those. I was thinking about trying to find a pelican style case that could be mounted on the front rack.

I have used the sling but I wanted something to protect it a bit from the elements better for transport.

Plastic hard case strapped to the rack works but it's pretty slow to get the rifle out if you want it in a hurry.
I carry all my non restricted black rifles over my back on the quad. A little water or dust won't hurt them as long as you clean when you get home or back to camp.

I had the same problem finding one that would hold both my XCR-M and a boltgun with an oversize bolt knob. I ended up going with the Kolpin Tactical gun boot that is made to fit AR style rifles and it worked out great with ample room. The only problem was that I had to order it from Sportsmans Guide in the US but it showed up with no problems. They also make a specific bracket for it so if you need to mount it to an atv, you will need to order that also.
Regards.

Put some electrical tape over the muzzle to keep the junk out of the barrel

That's my bike in the pictures. The snap on rail bolts to your pelican, so you can quickly attach/detach your case!

That looks really good but do you have to drill your case?
I'm not really willing to drill holes in my $350 (or whatever rediculous amout I paid for it) Pelican case.
That's a quad not a bike ;) Looks good though, just like mine.

Bike, quad. Potato, potahto. lol

Yeah, I drilled the Pelican to bolt on the top plate. Don't be scurred. I had reservations too, but it works awesome, and the system is better (IMO) than any other method that I could find to carry a gun on your bike. :p

It looks like exactly what I needed on my QUAD on Monday. ;)
I had my RFB across my back on the sling and the 10/22 in the case. It was slow getting my 10/22 out.
