Wish I could make it but I'll be down in Victoria for my Bday that weekend. WHen's the next shoot? I'm trying to get through my load development but may be forced to show up with some experimental rounds!

Next shoot is the second Sunday of August, same format I believe, then back to the 1-500 yard fun shoot stuff.

Hey Haggy, you got so many excuses they guys up that way are begining to wonder if you even have a rifle yet :D

Lol, yeah well I'm sorry to be such a tease. Being in the military is not the best career choice when trying to be available for random matches. I've had my Savage 12 for 1.5 years now and I'm not even done my load development if you could believe it. All I want to do is start competing instead of uneventful trips to the range.

Oh and now for another excuse: I won't even be living on the Island after August 9th so I guess I can't make it to the next one either! Maybe I'll be back on the Island in 5 years, then I can join you guys for some fun shoots!

Schedule is on the Campbell River Gun Club's website. Basically 2nd Sunday of the month starting at 10:00am

Fee is $25, with that you get: ten relays of shooting with a chance to win back your relay fees, a free lunch & drinks & 5 tickets in the 50/50 draw for 3-4 prizes

Rules are minimal. No scope restrictions. If you win 80% of the relays in your class two shoots in a row, you'll be asked to move up a class. If it's in the Custom class, I guess we'll have to get better. Factory gun can be bedded, trigger adjusted, re-crowned
Custom Factory is a factory action with anything and everything done to the gun
Custom is custom actioned BR rifles, no rails.

Any more questions just PM me

Cheers
Greg
