I have always been interested in the Aussie OWEN smg, very little is known about it here in Canada, other than it was much more reliable than the Sten gun i have done some research on the internet,but .. ..was wondering if any CGN's may have seen one or talked to Aussie troopies about this very reliable 9mm SMG.

Finn Neilson imported one example from Australia a number of years ago and used to shoot it on a regular basis when it was legal to do so here in Canada. If you scan the internet on his name and the word "Owen" you will probably find the writeup he did about the gun.
Finn passed away a few years back. His gun may have been resold to another collector or given to the Forensic Sciences Laboratory in Toronto where he was employed as the chief firearms examiner for many years.
