Australian International Arms 'Improved Enfields'

Australian lee enfields

I have never owned one...like yourself, I have thought about it for a couple of years now, but every time I view the site for the model I would prefer it is 'out of stock' I did fondle several of them at the Calgary gunshow a couple years back. They are nicely made, solid , rifles. The Teak wood stocks are kind of unique. They are heavy, but for a range shooter, I think they would be hard to beat especially if one locates some lake city match 308.

I still have one on my 'To get' list

I have the B2, it is heavy, but it shoots straight. I really like the teak stock. It is a cool alternative to a remington or savage. The mags do fit in my m14, havent tried them for function yet though. I can usually keep the groups between 1 and 2 inches with cheap ammo, and mediocre skills.

Happy B1 Sporter owner. Have to confess - run it over with my truck in late Sept. Yeah, yeah I know - never do this, never do that... We all have our personal collections of stupidities.
Nevertheless packed three more deer since, one of them @ appox 350m.
Had to correct POI a little and replace Butler Creek lens cover.

And - the thing you'd love I bet - you dont have to do ANYTHING with them. They are fine shooters and field rifles out of box - just put a weaver on, and mount optics.
