I know of an AIA M10 B2 rifle for sale but without the mags. It's hardly been used, what's it worth and is there anything I should be aware of before handing over the $ ?

Mags have been diverted to other uses...I can guess what for.

You can't buy the correct factory mags anywhere.

You'll need to do something like acquire a 5 round M14 magazine (they will be limited to a legal capacity of 5 rounds no matter what) and alter the lockup lug at the back till it will lock into the AIA.

If it's like new it might be worth around $500. Not more with the mags missing.

$600 is the asking price, it looks worth it but I will haggle. With a bit of luck he will come down to $500.
I'm not bothered about the mags,I can easily get M14 mags and as you suggest alter the lugs at the back. This stupid mag capacity laws we have need to go The rifle looks absolutely magnificent.

Yes 10 round AIA mags are valuable items. I'd say $50 a piece.

IMHO, I think the asking price of $600 is fair. I paid $575 for a non-match model with two mags. The match model sold for $800 when it was available.

The last ones I saw For Sale were $100 ea

The mags are impossible to find. Without them I wouldn't pay more than $400 for the rifle. You're probably gonna have to shell out $100 each for mags IF you can find them.

The AIA M10 B2 Match rifles are dreams to shoot.

IMHO, they are going to increase in price to the $1500 range over the next 5-10 years.

Maybe even more if they come with the sling, cheek rest, spare mag and Weaver scope base.

These were a bargain, when they were new. The same can be said for the other AIA Lee Enfield models as well.

I would pay $1000 for one complete with the factory accessories right now.

Glad I pounced on the one I just got.
Can't wait to shoot it. The B2 comes with a Monte Carlo stock, so built in cheek rest.
Could have got it for $800 with two mags, but I got a great deal with a nice scope.
These guns are very nice, and will continue to cultivate a mistique about them.
Now, if only I could fine one of the 250 B3's!

There is NO round limit for a bolt action rifle in B.C it may vary province to province that also applys to a 22 auto or bolt.So i could take a 5/20 fit it to a AIA so it only fits a AIA and use the full 20.

It is on the RCMP web site unless that has changed that is where i got it from. One thing i hate is guys that mod enfield mags on some of these rifles i've bought for 5 rounds based on false info.Like i stated it varys from province to province.

Wrong.

Illegal. This has been talked to death for years. Use the search function.

Well you missed a fantastic gun and if you think mags are hard to find the gun is much more difficult.

They are a fantastic shooter and you can always find a mag.

The true gem is the B3 with the minigun barrel.
