I can attest to that on hard to get... BCM USED to make a clone for their C8 SFW URG, but we had to resort to *gag* Chinesium to finish C.'s C8A3.

Just for community benefit, are these true C8 or C7? IIRC the C7A2 version is one or two slots longer on the side "fork tines."

I hVe a dozen semi auto colt/diemaco guns. .
Just can't do anything with thrm right now, unless it's a govermwnt related woekd.

The one pictured is technically a C7 model, the C8 ones are scalloped at the front, resulting in the two less slots as you said. They all got used on both C7s and C8s though
