Is there any other way to apply for a short term ATT other than waiting on the phone with firearms center? I will have to transport a restricted to post office shortly and thought I remember seeing that you can do this online but don’t see where that would be an option.

Apologize if this is in the wrong place but figured you folks would be the ones to know.

It's possible, at least in Ontario (on Wednesday the latest for a weekend), to request an ATT by e-mail. Anybody knows Alberta CFO's one?

I have always phoned in and received the ATT via email, but OP you could always try the generic email cfpcfounit@rcmp-grc.gc.ca Attn Alberta CFO STATT request

You might try extension 9026 via the 1-800 number. Not sure if that has changed (was the AB CFO extension at one time)

You cannot do it online

Just used this number and seemed to work faster than just the 1-800 number was done 15 min total from wait time to ATT in email box, much faster than last time I got an ATT.

Thanks for the info!!!
