My buddy says its very "weak" any truth to that ??

Im looking for a fairly stout load as I'm shooting 100 plus yards with my hand gun.

I did try CFE-Pistol in 357 Magnum. Average was 930 fps for 6.6 gr with campro 158 gr tc fcp out of a 6 in barrel.

thank you. seems its not a very popular powder for 357.
seems ok for 9mm and 45acp from the reviews.
very little on the web or loading data sites.

I guess...use what you can get....may not be perfect but will go bang.

I have used it for full power .40 S&W. It's a good bit slower than Unique, which is much vaunted for medium-magnum loads, so I would expect you could make a cracking good .357 load with it.

I just took a look at the Hodgdon reloading data center, and I have to say that if you can't find info, you aren't looking very hard. They have data for 15 different bullets, lead and jacketed, from 110gr up to 180gr.

Looks like they are getting some very good velocities with very economical charges. The only caveat is they use magnum primers in everything.

I just found that to, but......some other folks were saying the FPS numbers are "way low" and they claimed really poor accuracy.
so I dont know what to believe.
so far everyone who posts on this powder for 357 has had dismal results on other forums.

and yes ...people have had good luck with powder loading 40 cal

It almost seems that it works better in short cased brass bullets'. 9mm 45acp & 40

well I tried 7g of auto comp in my 44mag. I really like it. feels like your shooting a hot 38 special,...and fantastic accuracy.
Very happy with this Load. will do up a bunch more.
