Auto ordnance

Hi All,
i was wondering why these rigs are so cheap to buy.
I am considering buying one just because they can be had for sol little dough.
are they worth it or should a guy just buy a higher end model.

Sean--I have a 10mm, bought off a member here. Like it alot, just got a PT1911 Taurus again like it alot.
What ever you get make sure its a fully supported chamber.
A.O. is getting back into 1911 after being sold to another gun maker.

Auto Ordnance was sold to Khar Arms a few years ago. The word is that they improved the quality. I don't know how you'd tell since they are still marked Auto-Ordnance.
