Automatic deer feeders

Do they work well? How long can they go before they need to be refilled? what should I expect to pay a good value feeder? company/brand name....any recommendations are welcome.

I have a Moultrie Econo, $24.99 from Bass Pro. You can set it to throw 1 lb up to 4lb. At a medium setting it throws 2-3lb twice daily, and a bag of corn will last 3 weeks approx. I'll see if I can get a pic..

Is this feeding or Baiting? Just wondering because I would like to feed the deer on the land that I bought. I live in Manitoba so this might be a different story.

Not necessarily as I use mine for Turkeys and not for Deer.Also it depends on the time of year. If you are feeding now I would not think it is baiting for next fall. If you are sitting down wind from it in November it would be baiting but no more than putting out bags of apples
