Printed a spring loaded motor mount for my Lee Trimmer. Works great, added an amp meter to see when trimming is complete.

Awesome, what motor did you use? How do you attach the cage to the die/press and prevent it from rotating when motor kicks on? Care to share more about the design?

Here's my take at it:

The motor (screwdriver) is activated by a magnetic switch when the ram hits the top. The spring allows me to lift the cutter out for vacuuming. On station 5 I have a lee long charge die, the intention is to mount a dial indicator to tell me if the case has been trimmed properly. My current problem is the screwdriver is too long and the 2 1/4 inch rod flexes a bit too much to my liking. Maybe I can go with 3d printing and also incorporate a mount for my dial indicator.

I think one additional feature we can add is a vacuum adapter. Mill some opening on the side of the quick trim die and attach a vacuum adapter to it.
