I recently bought a .62 cal. flinter. In the past, everytime I have visited the U.S., I have loaded up on .60 cal. round balls to shoot in the beast. But, this isn't a good solution long term. I know that .50 and .54 calibres are widely available up here but I have never seen .60

Question: anyone know where I may be able to buy .60 cal. round balls in Canada? Thanks in advance.

If you are interested there is a guy in Duncan,B.C. who sells 500 ball for around $50 but postage would be a killer.:)

I ordered a .60 mould from Dixie Gun Works a couple of months ago. It was quite reasonably priced and came fast. They have a .60 conical mould too. $45US for either.

Steppenwolf

What is the contact info for your guy in Duncan? Postage from the US is a killer too. I hate casting but you folks are right about the moulds.

Steppenwolf might not cable right now, we just had another storm go through Port Alberni this morning
John Bell is who we get our ball from, his # is 250-749-3967, and 500 --.060" are $57, by comparison .440" are $35.
I just talked with John and he's OK with his phone being posted.
Cheers nessy.

I did ordered round balls from Track of the Wolf for my .62 caliber fusil de chasse de Tulle. I use .60 caliber with the thicker cotton patches and .61 with paper patches.

John Bell's round balls are excellent; I buy them by the 500 and only cast for the peculiar calibers.

cheers mooncoon

I can bring them to Heffley, doubt if we'll be doing any Mainland shoots.
