Is there a distributor or retailer of Kahles scopes in Canada? I'm interested in one of their 1"-tube models, the Helia 3 3-9x42.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Ya there a couple.

There is precision optics

Also a place in southern Alberta but can’t think of the name at the moment.

Another option is opticstrade. eu (I’ve bought 4 Kahles from them over the last 5 years)

That's interesting re Opticstrade. In fact, I emailed them about this, and here is their reply:

Perhaps the regulations have changed re shipping to Canada. However, they did provide some suppliers in Canada, and I'll check with them, as well as Precision Optics.

Thanks for the tips, guys. I've found a number of dealers that carry the Kahles line, but, unfortunately for my purposes, they are all huge scopes with large 50 mm. - 56 mm. objectives. I'd like to find their 3-9x42 scope with the 1" tube for a hunting rifle, but I guess they aren't being made anymore. So I'll have to look for a used one.

Late to the party, but Kahles is Swarovski's "tactical" brand. In Europe its not good business to mix hunting with tactical so they split them and as a result, you have kahles.

Kahles is one of the oldest scope manufacturers out there, and are now owned at least partially by Swarovski. Swarovski has only recently introduced them to the North American market, but they've always been available overseas. I don't recall there ever being a "split".
US Swarovski dealers will also not sell their products to Canada, a dealer protection policy.

Contact Shooting Warehouse. Best customer service bar none! He does a lot of business with Kahles/Swarovski so is very knowledgeable of the product and processes orders quickly.
