Availability SKS - 91/30 need some guidance

I enjoy all the Russian rifles I have for different reasons, sks's, mosin's, svt's. They're all fun to shoot, lately my one svt & mosin are getting used more but I was shooting the sks yesterday and it still puts a smile on my face. All three were hitting an 8" steel target at 80 yards consistantly.

Why limit yourself to 6 guns? You should try to acquire as many as possible

How about a Mosin and a SVT 40. Same ammo and still not too expensive to run. SKS is a cheap gun but the 54r round can hunt and kill any animal on this continent. The 39 is a good cheap plinker and not much. Let me also add I own multiples of the 3 and enjoy them all but you set a two gun limit. There is no bad choice whatever you buy. Good Luck Sir

That's just what beginner collectors think Oh, I'll get 3 rifles and I'm set. I was thinking the same thing too. Than it'll be, oh, I have a Mosin, now I want M44 and M38 etc. Give him time

Also on your list should be a Finn capture M91 or other variant. (and, as stated previously, an SVT is a must!) Not to be overlooked is a M38 or M44 as well.....damn Red rifles are like rabbits!
