Availabilty of Federal Primers (Shortage?)

Hi all.

I have ordered a <substantial +++> amount of primers for myself and buddies however, being told that there is a shortage of Federal primers because they are using them for product. Anything to this story or am I being snowed?

hehehe, yeah, just because wholsesale is running low doesn't mean anything. Perpetually being low/out of primers/powders/pretty much everything is standard practise for WS.

I bought afew thousand to replenish my supply from P&D this weekend - didn't appear to have any shortages there.
 
I tried to buy reloder 19 a few years ago from Wholesale, they told me it wasn't available because of the war in iraq. I went to PD, bought, asked Phil how long to get a new order, he told me two weeks.
 
hehehe, typical. I don't even bother going to WS anymore for reloading components, unless I'm already there for something else. Once I went there with a list of 10 things I needed. Powder (4895, Varget and H110), primers (small pistol match, remington 7 1/2's) and various bullets and brass, nothing exotic. They had none.

Did you order the reloader 19, or are they bringing in a bunch? I want to give some a try.

On the WS note, I got great service last week, even though I took up 1/2 an hour of a salesguy's time.
