In a perfect world, id find a LH CZ 452 American in .22lr, but I am always a day late or a dollar short to try and find a used one...

So what else is there available for LH quality 22lrs in Canada? I've looked at the Anschutz and Lithgow, but both are a lot of $$$$. Tikka T1x don't really exist and a savage well, is a savage....

Is there some others that I'm missing? Or do I just need to buck up and buy an Anschutz or keep holding my breath for a CZ?

Bergara is supposed to be out with a lefty rimfire this year I think. Might be waiting either way. I shoot a left hand Remington 581 (won't touch the CZ for quality) but has been a good shooter for me. View attachment 486370

I myself gave up on this search a long time ago.
Custom target stock select walnut adjustable cheekpiece and butt plate. Wide target fore end wundhammer swell with PG stippling mimicking many Anschutz.
Sure it's RH bolt but it's equally comfortable from either shoulder.

Good luck.
I have been looking around to outfit my left hand g/f. The only company that seems to consistently produce left hand rifles is savage. I saw a company in the US that produces left hand receivers for the 10/22 but I haven't looked all that much into what it would take to get one into Canada.

They produce a left handed charging handle, but the empties still eject out the right side. So left handed shooters should wear safety glasses at very least while shooting it.

I have a savage mark 2 in 22lr and it's ok, but not great by any means...

Took them long enuf to get there. And it took US Olympic Gold Medalist Larry Basham to convince Anschutz executives to do it.

The 1727F is a very nice and fine firearm, but its hard to justify the price of it. Even a 1416L at $1,500 or so is difficult to justify. And left handed guns aren't the easiest to re-sell or pass down.

If you need a lefty your easiest route is Savage. I have others but my go to rimfire is a mk 2. Not going to claim its the best rifle in the world, everybody likes something different. I have a couple of cz 452s as well, but I don't remember the last time I used either of them.

with all the stuff going on in the USA right now, finding anything in lefthand is a challenge. keep a close eye on the equipment exchange. or consider a 10/22.

For the record, I should say that I do already one a Savage Mark 2 GL but accuracy isn't great with it. I also have a Left Hand CZ 452 Lux in .22lr. Although it's great with iron rights, scopes don't mount great on it so shooting it accurately scoped is hard. I also own a Dlask TUF 22, ita great for dumping rounds and such, but I'd still like to own a very accurate scoped .22lr bolt gun.
