Forgot to mention that the combo was just for the wife to get in the game. I've wanted an AR for quite a while now so I bought the Ruger AR 556 at Bulls Eye London. They have great pricing on just about everything. They have a pile of AR mags; different brands and styles including Magpul.

I was waffling a bit on what to buy, and the inexpensive lowers were gone. Considered buying a Smith & Wesson Sport 2. Cabelas has a good price on them, but GoTenda I think comes out a bit cheaper by the time you check out. Bulls Eye has them also for a good price and free shipping on anything over $200, shipped expedited and insured.

For the price of the Smiths and Rugers (if you can find one now; Bulls Eye is out) it makes a lot of sense to look at those compared to what the Norcs/Dominion are going for.

CTCs most gone there. Pricey lower and last colt Canada lower bought by me lol. Ya spent the afternoon hunting for a lower for the wife (got a at in my name )

If people simply want grandfathering they also have polymer lowers for 38 use.
