Average SKS cleaning time with corrosive ammo

I have Norinco ammo, bought like 17 years ago, soft point and FMJ and they are really non corrosive:) But its always good to be sure.

It's all good;)...just stop short of intentionally drinking the stuff (in large quantities). I was just razzin'. It takes a little more than solvent to scare this 301S/310T :D

You don't have to "waste" it by firing an extra 10-20 shots, just bring some nor corrosive and switch to them for the last couple rounds you will be shooting. I'm not 100% sure if this does anything or not, but for how little effort is required, why not.

When i am shooting corrosive i am a little paranoid, so it takes me an hour or more to clean it, which is a pain, but it is a very thorough cleaning, so what i do now is shoot non corrosive 2 or 3 trips to the range and don't do much cleaning in between, then have a day with the corrosive stuff and give it a real good cleaning.
So although it may take me an hour to clean it, if it's my fourth trip to the range it's really only about 15-20 minutes per trip, which isn't to bad
