Another plastic fantastic... pistol ammo in the display and what looks like an M16 mag in the gun. What does it shoot?

There is what looks like one 5.56 round in the left corner of the pic. I would imagine if they are selling to the NATO crowd then that's the cartridge of choice. Not bad rifle but I doubt any of us will get to hold it.

So does it go (racially inappropriate expletive deleted - I really should be taken out and shot) instead of bang-bang?

If it makes it to Canada, particularly in a non-restricted form, it will sell.

No but I do hear that it jumps up and changes sides all on its own.!!

:D

(note the above is meant to be HUMOUR, based on historical facts.

1) before WWI Italy was bound by treaty with Germany and the Austrohungarian Empire. As such she should have gone to war on their side. Instead they called no joy and waited to see who was winning. In 1915 after secret negotitations with the western powers they declared war on their erstwhile allies.

2) Well pretty much a repeat of WW1 with a similar cast of characters.

Now........after changing sides in WWII they did serve galantly. Of course they have been stalwart allies in Iraq as well and did not cave in to the terrorists who executed their soldiers).

Uses a gas piston, so it should be reliable. Barrel looks too short for it to be non-restricted. Apparently this may be the new Italian Army rifle. Eventually. Beretta and Benelli usually make good stuff, so it should be reasonably good.

Is that stock a sliding stock that is fully forward or is it detachable? Hopefully the former. The mag. release doesn't look particularly well-placed though. The receiver looks similar to the Benelli R1 rifle.

Just a wild assed guess from the picture, but it looks like a standard AR mag and the mag catch is likely ambi. The reach for the trigger finger for the mag catch looks too long, so I suspect it will be the non dominant thumb operating it.

I suspect Steve is right about the M4 style sliding stock and barrel length.

Very cool,

If non-restricted and priced as good as a Storm.......... The question would be, who wouldn't have one of these?

Storm still looks nicer, but I think that could grow on me.
It does look very Benelli/Beretta - as if the Storm and a Benelli Shotgun (or R1) melted into each other.

I personally like the look of this better then the Storm, I think this is actually pretty cool - I'd buy one, given the right price/performance...

Me for starters...

The Storm is garbage. The designers spent too much time trying to make it look unique, and not enough time making the Ergonomics work.
If this thing works 10 times better than the Storm, it will still be a piece of crap.
