AWESOME Ultrasonic Cleaning Solution

I will have to give this one a whirl after my other solutions run out. I've tried a couple brands so far, just to check results(lyman/hornady/homebrew receipy).

My routine:
decap
US clean
Size; then
tumble for that polished look.

cases look great after.

I've been using this stuff next to Lemishine for a while now in both the US machine and SS media. Honestly, I'm not seeing a difference when they are both mixed in the right proportion. I would use whichever is easiest to find.

As promised here are some pics.

since I only shoot rifle, and not the great quantities of rounds pistol shooters seem to go through, I don't mind tumbling. I also don't mind cleaning out the primer pockets. It is sort of relaxing to me. Each step of the reloading process deserves its time as far as I'm concerned. It takes me several hours to get once-fired brass loaded and ready to shoot.
I usually pick up lots of brass at the range, esp during our sight-in days. Then I take it home, tumble it to make sure that any dirt is gone and remove any smoking left behind by a sloppy chamber. Then I lube, F/L re-size and de-cap it. These steps are carried out in the basement. I will say that wiping the media dust off of the case consumes most of the time. Once separated inot brands, I will set up in the living room with the fam and while watching movies with them, I will trim to length, chamfer, flash hole de-burr in one setup. I then carry out primer pocket uniforming and then prime the cases. Each lot of 50 is then double bagged and put in an ammo can with an O2 absorber if for long term storage (when I have more than 500 cases for each rifle, they are stored for later use).
This process usually takes me about 2 hours starting from removing from the tumbler, and I don't want it any faster.
When I shoot the ammo I have made, then all I have to do is wipe the mouth of the cases to remove any powder fouling for inspection, neck size, clean the primer pockets, prime, and reload with the same recipe. 50 of those takes less than an hour in the basement and is usually done during two lunch breaks, esp on a rough day at work. This really tends to relax me since I am forced to be careful.
So, while I can sympathize with those that are trying to find a faster way to do EVERYTHING, it is really not for me right now. Now shotgun loads when I was shooting skeet and trap was a different thing. Seemed like I was reloading every night, but that didn't take long. Once set up that takes less than an hour to do a box, and it was always set up.

After reading this thread when it first came out, I gave the Logastina stuff a try. My brass never came out quite as shiney as these recent pics show, but my primer pockets come that clean after giving them a shot of compressed air.

Has anybody tried a Sonic cleaner with black powder cartridges, and what sort of results did you get ?

I have, but I still need to use a brush and soapy water to clean the insides out typically. BP leaves more of an oily film than smokeless - not sure my basic ultrasonic cleaner is up to the task...?
