Finally got around to mounting my reloading press and organizing all of my realoading gear and components.

I nearly s**t a brick when I discovered a box of IMR4895 and CCI BR2 primers in the garage!! :D They will be going into some chamber formed .308 right away

Here's a question.... can WinCLEAN brass be reloaded or is it just taking up space in my brass bin?

I love guns :)

I remember you buying that blue press in Kamloops a couple of years ago.
Good to see you doing something with it!

Yeah, I was looking at it today and thinking holy cow, that's been in my garage for a year and a half!

Guess I just didn't have that much use for it. Buying that 700 is what has really got me going on reloading.

You may want to check the primers in a few test rounds. Depending on how much moisture your garage had and how much the primers may have absorbed. Hate to see you load 100+ and find that the primers fail to ignite.

Win-Clean brass is fine for reloading. Just make sure to do the proper thing and work up your personal loads. (FYI .45ACP Win-Clean uses small pistol primers).

Wally, I sure don't want to rain on your picnic, but if those trays are permanent storage beside your press, I see a problem.
It appears you have at least two different kinds of powder in one of them. One of the basic rules of safety in reloading, is to have only one can of powder on your loading bench at a time, the one you are actually using at the time.
I suppose you could take one powder from the tray, then leave it standing on your bench. But, if you filled the powder measure, then put the container back in the tray, you could, theoretically, get the other container to refill the measure.
I have to get up from my bench and go to another area to get a container of powder. That one container sits on my bench while I am loading powder, and stays there until the unused powder from the measure is returned to it at completion.
We can't be too careful about using the type of powder we intend to use. Using the wrong powder is one of only two or three of the major causes of a catastrophic loading accident.

Looks to me like three....
I think Wally is simply showcasing that he has organized his Hand loading efforts and is ready to dive in.
Good start and looks good Wally!

Is that a Texan press ??? I picked one up a couple of years ago but mine is black. Other than that, they're very close.
It's a Bair Company press.... don't know what else to tell ya. Got it for $35 at the Kamloops show a few years ago.

Exactly. Those bins are now under my bench. Thanks :)

Cool, good to know I can reload the Winclean. I have a massive bag of it (yeah, I knew about the small pistol primers).

Thanks Guys :D

Is it .45acp? If so, all of the stuff I've run across has a crimped primer.
I'm saving mine in a big tupperware bin to eventually de-cap, and swage before loading.

Yep, .45ACP. That's all I have in the Winclean. I stopped buying it when I realized it would be a PITA to reload.
