If you do a little surfing, you can find a report where a guy attached a AR-15 mag to his savage axis in .223. Could the same then not be done for a Mini-30 Mag? (Pinned to 5 of course)

It's a magazine designed for a semi auto centre fire, so yes it would. AR/LAR would be a better option if capacity was his goal.

as far as I know, no bottom metal exist for axis action
and honestly, I dont see anyone making them for the simple reason that usualy peoples who buy an axis cannot afford the extra 100$ for a savage 11/111 so I dont realy see them paying an extra 300$ for a bottom mettal
you will probably have to make something yourself or a member of this forum "bobfortier" has make a few axis laminate stock and he might be able to help tou on your project
