Are the AXTS lowers available In Canada? If it is, who sells it?

I have been looking at these for a little bit. Fantastic looking lowers. I would get one if they were brought into Canada, which I know aren't around yet.

The product has literally just come out in the US. It will be a bit before I think we will be seeing these up here.

It's a shame that they are listed around $425 US for it, would probably push $500+ for it here. Being a Lefty myself I have a lot of interest in this lower for my build, but I think it's a bit out of my price range.

425$ USD usually means 600-700$ here after export, shipping fees and tax...

CBSA inspection fees are ridiculous.
Permits and exporter fees are higher than you think as well.

If you take a look at the parts list below, its not much more expensive to purchase this lower.


Aero Lower - $145
DD Lower Parts Kit - $110
Norgon Ambi Magazine Release - $110
Enhanced Trigger Guard - $15
Magpul BAD Lever - $50

SUBTOTAL - $440

+ 13% HST - $57.20
+ Shipping - $40

TOTAL - $537.20

It may cost you anywhere from $50-$200 more for this lower complete. That to me is worth every penny. Flared magazine well, integrated enhanced trigger guard and as Angryeyebrows said, you can use the magazine catch to hold the bolt open. Pretty cool if you ask me.

The AXTS lower comes with a complete LPK, but DOES NOT come with an Ambi BAD Selector. That unfortunately is extra.
 
That is a good point. I was talking to an Afgan vet this fall and the ambi mag release on the current CF rifles can be a pain apparenty. Caused an un-intened mag drop in the case stated. At the time the soldier in question was climbing to an elevated firing position while carrying a support weapon and the mag fell more than a story. It burst on impact.

However, for my current personal range commando needs I can live with it being exposed.
